Pediatric tip of the day : Protein intake in toddlers, preschoolers and primary schoolers.

Proteins leads to building of tissues, body organs and overall growth.

They help in augmenting immunity in growing children.

A minimum of 2 glasses of milk ( upto 500 ml), milk products in one meal, dals, sprouts and meat products one serving each in every meal should be given.

From 3 years of age,every year, one spoonful of a protein product should be increased per year in every meal.

Kids are fussy eaters, so it is a challenge to mothers to make acceptable, delicious meals for their little ones. Remember, presentation matters to the kid !
